Is this why Android 5 is such a massive pile of fail? Cos you were working on this feature, which wasn't ready yet? Or have you just given up on designing usable products altogether?

You broke all your users' mental models and muscle memory, with nothing to show for it but a broken lock screen that hides all the useful information (not even showing the kitchen timer) and whose primary function appears to be to tell you "you're doing it wrong so please stop doing that you dirty pleb".

Also, it is 2015 and you still don't have threading for non-Gmail accounts.

I mean, it can't be easy to prioritize UX after having to take care of all those feature requests for the NSA, but seriously Google, this is embarrassing.
