Seems ripe for some kind of linked account system...

That would be wonderful. So you could share books, music, films and apps with the whole family.

This is a good idea but the issue will still remain regarding unsuitable adverts popping up in games aimed at children...Have a read of this article regarding these kinds of adverts and the question 'do we need a watershed' http://irelandstechnologyblog.com/home/is-it-time-for-a-watershed-for-mobile-adverts/

Agree with Taedrirk. At the moment, my daughter has to use a tablet registered to my google account if she wants to use apps I've purchased for her. It would make much more sense if I could share my apps (essentially her apps!) with my family members so that they can use them without my login information (much like the service Amazon offers with their Kindle books).

Thanks for your post! Android is the name of the software that an increasing number of today’s phones run on. It’s developed by Google and comes with a range of Google features, most notably Search and Maps, installed as standard. This means you can easily search for information on the web and for directions from your phone, as you would on your computer. The Android Software Development Kit (SDK) provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language. More at
