      Website not working for me either (on Chrome). But, as long as it works on Android it's not that big of a deal. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Maybe my country isn't supported? I'm from Belgium btw.

    Not syncing with the Google Fit app that was pre-installed on my LG G Watch - should it be registering my steps on the phone app? I'm using an LG L90 running KitKat...

      The same problem exists for me with my Moto 360. The sync doesn't appear to be 2 way. The steps from my watch get replaced by the steps from my phone no matter what. I don't take my phone for walks. I had well over 1000 steps to disappear from my watch once synced back up with the phone. This app is a huge disappointment!

      My LG G Watch is syncing my steps just fine to Fit on my tablet. I don't use carry my tablet either, so I rely on the watch mainly to count steps. Are you looking at the Fit "activity" time or actually looking at steps? There's a difference.

      yeah same problem here. The steps from my watch get overridden by the steps on my phone, which defeats the purpose of having a step counter on my watch. I guess I have to uninstall fit, but I really was hoping either I was doing something wrong or there was a work around as I like the ability to see steps on the web. Have you found any solution?

Are you looking at the Fit "activity" time or actually looking at steps? There's a difference. As for the pedometer on Note 3, that's probably not going to be imported by Fit...at least not for now. I think Samsung needs to look at opening that up a bit, or at least allowing a better integration with Wear.

    Beware! Do NOT install the new "Google Fit" app on your phone if you use your 360's step counter or heart monitor. Once you install the app, the "card" in the 360 that will show you how many steps you have walked is removed. You can still say "show my steps" to see the count, but the always-available card is no longer available.

    In addition, installing the app wipes out your step and heart rate history data!

    Uninstalling the app gets the card back, but your data is just gone.

    Not a good first showing for Google Fit. The Apple health kit looks a year or more ahead compared to this thing.

      Yea, I agree with Shedrick, the app should have said BETA and given the lost of history as a caveat. I wasn't too upset since I had already lost my history from switching phones, but still. Anyway, it shouldn't take long for them to restore your "Always Available" step card. We didn't really have that in the LG G Watch, until you reach at least half of the step goal, but it was as simple as tapping the Fit icon on the watch to bring it up. But now we have to resort to the "show my steps" voice command (or tapping and scrolling down to it).

      Is anyone having problems with the Moto 360 recorded steps being overwritten by the steps recorded on their phone via the Fit app? It's driving me crazy. I go for a run with just my watch and it shows 8000 steps. I go back to change and pick up my phone and suddenly my steps are back to 2000 steps -- in other words, only the steps registered by the fit app on my phone. Really frustrating!

      The step counter on the Wear watches have always been flawed. I only expect a minor improvement at launch for the phone based app. The nice thing is, it doesn't force you to choose, phone versus watch, like on Samsung Galaxy Watches with Samsung phones.

      You may want to restart the phone and watch. I wasn't getting good sync either, until I did that. Now I'm seeing activity captured by the watch (steps) AND activity captured by the mobile device (timed and location).

      All I know, is Fit is the worst app release I've ever seen from Google. It's not even Alpha level, much less beta.

    I have to ask. Who at Google thought fit was anywhere CLOSE to being a product that should be released? I've used it two days now, and for one, you can ONLY see data for today - not yesterday, and even then, the data I see on the website is over 6 hours old from what I see on my phone!

    This is "alpha" level. Not even close to Beta, much less a release candidate!

    I just got an update for Runtastic which enables sync with Google fit as per the changelog but I cant find how to connect the apps anywhere...I don't see the option in either app. Runtastic is signed in to Google but when I go to Google Fit settings it shows no connected apps or devices..

      You need to connect from the Runtastic app;

      Settings -> Partner Apps

      You should see an option to connect to Google Fit.

      I just tried it out on a walk, looks like the integration is working perfectly :)

      Thank you but it doesn't appear under partner apps for me for some reason. I'll look into it. It must have something to do with my account.

    Impossible to set weight and height! No Ok button. Doesn't stay put :(

    P.S: What sensors on our phone does this app make use of?

    Question:
    Many of us sync activities among apps. For eg., I sync my runkeeper GPX data with strava and vice versa. In this case, how the data will be handled? specifically to avoid duplication of stats from same activity.
    TIA for answering.

    Can we have strava and garmin integration ASAP. Otherwise, its no use. And will it manage duplicate activities?

    I've updated strava and runkeeper with Fit integration but still those apps are not shown in google fit.
    I don't use google+ login for these apps.
    To connect fit and these apps, should we use google+ login ONLY?
