Amen to that, my friend. I don't particularly need it, as I have the Oxford Dictionaries installed in my tablet, but that'd be definitely a cool feature.

Play Books has really come a long way, but it needs a few more features:
    1) Open new epubs while offline
    2) Organize books into libraries or folders
    3) Fix the problem where you can't highlight lines at the bottom of screen. When you longpress to highlight, the dictionary card pops up and covers the text
    4) Switch longpress to highlight to double tap or atleast give us the option to switch.

Judging from the pictures shown here: [1], I would say Issue No. 3 has been fixed (the navigation bar is not shown when highlighting/selecting a word).

      6) They are now. Oh, and 3) is completely fixed, as I have just tested myself on my tablet.

    Hello,
I really welcome the new changes.. especially the ones involving highlighting and annotation since as a student I use that feature A LOT.

Now can I give some suggestions?

    1. Pop up footlinks. It seems it only works for asterisk and not other foot notes. Good job moving forward on that.
    2. Simplified highlighting like kindle and iBooks is doing. Tap and move your finger.
    3. Pop up images in epub. Just like kindle and ibooks
    4. Folders or collections of books. And a way of archiving old books instead of deleting them.

    Other that that.. Great work.
    Thanks for listening to suggestions.

I must say I'm pretty impressed.

Issue number 1 stated above was resolved in the latest official release.

      Again thanks for listening!

We cannotsay that we’re too impressed to see Google excitedly updating its appsbefore Android Lollipop’s official release. However, a recent minor update has now bumped up the version number to 5.0.37 up from 5.0.32.
