That's because there is a multi-hour time difference (depending on where you are) between you and Mountain View, California which is where Google HQ is...
Still waiting, I looked at the mirror site and saw they added something 7 hours ago, I think it was 64 bit support but need someone that understand this more to confirm. Regardless it seems like they're still adding components to it..... Can someone go look and explain this a bit?
I am just hoping it will be possible to talk to your phone in my nataive language instead of only US English. It's so embarrasing to talk to your phone in a foreign language that I have refrained. But - tomorrow all might be new and the future shining!
there is not update for other devices. forget about it everyone. We MIGHT get it for Thanksgiving though. Google says for nexus 5, the update will be in coming weeks AGAIN. I am switching to Iphone Bye google
Wow I love Lollipop on my 2013 Nexus 7!!! Oh, wait, I don't have it yet. I never understood this stupid update system Google has with Android. When iOS 8 rolled out, it was ready for devices dating back 3 years to 2011 (the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S) on DAY ONE. Here I am with a Nexus 7 I got less than a year ago and I'm not able to update? F**k that.
I haven't received the update for my phone yet.. Is the LG G Pro going to get it? I really hate my phone and I'm hoping that the update will make it some what better.. I doubt it though.
Roll out today! That is what this blog post says, and it is already "tomorrow", and I still see complaints of not being able to update. Apple seems far more punctual than you Google...
Yup, it's 2:20PM (+00 GMT) and still no update (N5) and no system images.
We know, for Google it's just numbers... and when they release something they release in USA and after 1 month or more in the rest of the countries... Like N6, still not appearing in Google Play. Same **** always :(
"... begins to roll out today" Hmm... Translates to? Not that I'm all... Umm... Antsy or something... Just that... Well... I have this Nexus 7 (2013) and... Anyway... Thank God I'm not waiting on anyone like Samsung to push an OTA...
I am surprised to see that there has been no official announcement from google, about the roll out when they have already sated that they will start to roll out the update on MONDAY.....
How is it released when there aren't even any images yet? At least not for any of your flagship products - https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
I don't understand why can't google get their update push together whereas when apple pushes the update all their users gets it at once. Why can't Google follow the same process
Google, if you're gonna say something, mean it and do it! 3rd of Nov means the 3rd and no later. The least you could do was acknowledge the hundreds of thousands waiting for the update that it will be delayed. Still nothing. "Pure" disappointment from the "Pure" stock android provider.
The factory images for Nexus 9 for Android 5.0 is out now officially. So the same for other nexus devices should be available any moment now. The OTA will be released in parallel.
Dudes relax and wait.... By 10th Nov everyone will taste sweet lollipop. Google is not a small company like Apple. They r pancual cause they only 18% in global share in avarage. Android is 75%. Google have so many problems from some idiots. They do everything secretly. Google always best. If u wanna blame leave android and blame. Sorry if I hurt anyone
What the hell nexus 5 is still listed as OS kitktat on google play store? I guess google isn't going to release the update for nexus 5 until they make their money of on nexus 6...way to go Google
I am really upset with google. I have bought the Nexus 5 with the promise to be the first to receive Lollipop, and today I see the G3 and Moto G owners to receive it first. Google has really let me down, and next time I'll change my phone I'll think of migrating to iphone....
Hi there Google. i have recently updated my nexus 5 with the new Android 5.0. I have noticed abit of lagging within system performance which i never experienced with 4.4.4 kitkat. I have noticed that when switching between applications there is a performance drop which yet again never experienced this with kitkat. Also when the power save mode is enabled there is also a performance drop which causes applications to hang longer than without the power save mode enabled.
Waiting Lollipop roll out for my Nexus 5! :)
